Môi Art Gallery is situated in the renowned art village of Riebeek Kasteel, nestled at the foot of Kasteelberg in the Swartland, an area known as the breadbasket of South Africa.

This quaint village, where artists, poets, writers and actors, have come to live together,  is one of South Africa’s most sought after places to visit. Weekend visitors to Riebeek Kasteel come from far and wide. Some drive in from Cape Town, a mere hour away, others fly in from across the country,  and yes, even from across the world!

The town is known for it’s fine galleries,  restaurants, delis, coffeehouses and creative little shops, offering a unique experience all together.

Môi Art Gallery, situated in the historic Kasteelberg Place building across from the old town square, was established by Johann and Jennifer van der Hoven, after the original building had been renovated and given a new lease on life. The gallery is situated in the historic, Kasteelberg Place building, across from the town square. Môi Art offers visitors an exclusive and unique art experience. Visitors can expect to be spoiled by a unique collection of innovative and groundbreaking art and sculptures, by leading, Internationally acclaimed, South African artists.

Collaborating together with some of the largest art establishments in the nation, combined with exhibiting some of the local Internationally celebrated artists, allows Môi Art to bring you an exclusive and unique art experience in the heart of the Swartland and the West Coast.
