It’s that time of the year again!
Solo Studios 2024 is just around the corner, promising three days of artistic indulgence to art lovers from all walks of life. Whether you are a seasoned collector, someone who just loves art or a total novice to the world of art, the event promises to be spectacular in delivering an array of art disciplines and artists that caters to a wide audience.
From poetry to live performances, to visual arts put on display, the events offer a cultural explosion of in spiration through colour, form, expression, feeling and sound!
Expect to see unique one-off stunning art pieces and sculptures on offer from a wide variety of South Africa’s finest talent put on display!
As always, the town is preparing itself to indulge visitors with the finest in country hospitality, lovely accommodations, hearty delicious country cuisine, wine tastings, and charming fireplaces, providing a fairy Cape winter warming atmosphere, amidst snowy mountain tops and lush vegetation that is second to none!
Our Môi Art Extravaganza this year, again promises to surprise with new talent and interesting mediums, just as did last year.
From “smoke art” by Bianca Botha (BiBi), to new and stunning charcoal art by Ruan Huisamen, Augmented “living art” by David Griessel, and a new series of the old masters re-imaged by Johan Alberts.

SOLLY SMOOK, joins us this year with a lovely collection of both oil on canvas, as well his new trending multimedia artwork on paper.

A total of 27 artist’s work will be on exhibition at Moi during the three days of Solo Studios (9-11 August). The gallery will be open daily between 9.30 am and 4 pm over this time, with lovely refreshments will be served to those who have the time and wish to linger a little longer.
Our brand new courtyard “Sculpture Garden” provides a lovely ambiance where beautiful sculptures by Kunye, Misha Hiller and Kunye will be on display, together with large artworks by Anina Deetlefs and Johan Alberts.
Visit us on Saturday the 10 August between 11 am and 3 pm to meet and greet some of the artists such as Ruan Huisamen, Johan Alberts and others in person!
